Our Philosophy
Your data belongs to you. Our apps work entirely on your device by default, with no account required and no data sent to our servers. You're in control.
What We Collect
By Default: Nothing
When you use our apps without enabling sync, your data stays on your device. We don't collect analytics, track your behavior, or share anything with third parties.
With iCloud Sync: Still Nothing From Us
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud container:
- We have no access to your iCloud data — it's between you and Apple
- Only you can access this data through your Apple ID
- Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud storage
We don't receive any information about your synced data when you use iCloud.
With an Account: Only What's Needed
If you choose to create an account for subscription-based sync, we collect:
- Email address — To identify your account and communicate important updates
- Synced app data — The content you choose to sync across devices
We use Supabase to securely store this information. Your synced data is associated with your account and accessible only to you.
What We Don't Collect
- Location data
- Device identifiers for advertising
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Data from other apps on your device
- Contacts, photos, or other personal files (unless you explicitly import them into an app)
How We Use Your Data
If you have an account, we use your data to:
- Sync your content across your devices
- Authenticate you when you sign in
- Send important service communications (rarely)
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything beyond providing the service you signed up for.
Data Security
We protect your data using:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
- iCloud sync: Apple's end-to-end encryption for your private container
- Account sync: Secure, encrypted storage via Supabase with row-level security ensuring you can only access your own data
Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data at any time within the app
- Export your data in standard formats
- Delete your data — iCloud data via your device settings, account data via account settings or by contacting us
- Use apps offline without any sync enabled
- Disable sync at any time in app or device settings
To delete your account and all associated data, use the account settings in any of our apps, or contact us at legal@turtlesedge.com.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Third-Party Services
- With iCloud sync: Apple stores your data in your private iCloud container. See Apple's privacy policy.
- With an account: We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. See Supabase's privacy policy.
- Without sync: No third-party services process your data.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or via email (if you have an account). Minor clarifications won't trigger notifications.
